By this time next week, we will be on our way home after COTY 2017, knowing who has won!
Weather forecasts indicate a mild day (14ºC / 15ºC), partly cloudy, no rain at this point in time.

Below are a couple of reminders and refreshers:

Please find attached the hall layout and your cat number(s).
As far as possible, exhibitors with multiple cats have been placed next to near each other.

On arrival, each exhibitor will receive a Goody Bag with your exhibitor tag, reflecting your cat(s)
Please ensure you wear your exhibitor’s tag when you present your cat to the judges. The tag does not reflect your name. If you have multiple cats, please change the name tag to reflect relevant cat.

Litter trays WILL BE PROVIDED for each finalist.
Litter for the travelling exhibitors will be available on show day – kindly sponsored by Cats Best.
You are responsible for maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of your area during the course of the day. At the end of the show, please ensure that you have emptied the litter trays and water bowls, and discarded the carrier bag provided for the litter.
There will be no dedicated grooming station.

There will be no report card. Remember to wear your exhibitor card reflecting the correct cat.
Please be aware that you may not initiate a conversation with any judge nor may you approach the results table. Remember that general show rules apply during COTY.
Of the 5 scores allocated to each cat by the 5 judges, the lowest and highest scores for each cat will be discarded, and the remaining three scores will be added to arrive at a total score for each cat.

Ursula van der Riet will be available the Friday 11th August, 13h00.
We urge any exhibitors that are already in town to make use of the opportunity. This will assist with the large task at hand on Saturday.
Reminder to ensure that your cat’s eyes and ears are clean before the photo shoot. Try to wear clothing that is not too busy and compliments your cats’ coat colour but with some contrast.

COTY THEME – The Great Catsby

Exhibitors and supporters are most welcome to dress in the “THE GREAT CATSBY” theme during the day as well.
